Man in Serious Condition after Apartment Fire

St. Joseph police confirm a man was taken to the hospital after a fire at an apartment building.

St. Joseph police confirm a man was injured during a fire at a midtown apartment building.

Sergeant Abbott with the St. Joseph Police Department said they were called by SJFD to a fire at 421 N. 25th Street around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Sgt. Abbott said SJPD and SJFD are working together to determine what happened.

A 61-year-old man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries according to police.
