Flood Warning issued June 6 at 8:22AM CDT until June 10 at 9:12PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Platte City.

* WHEN…Until late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte
City begins to flood.
At 22.0 feet, Flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area which is
located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of pasture
are also flooded.
At 25.0 feet, Water overtops 1st Street in Tracy, Missouri.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 25.0 feet Monday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
