Flood Warning issued June 7 at 6:02AM CDT until June 10 at 5:37AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and
Carroll Counties.

Grand River near Gallatin affecting Daviess and Livingston
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Sumner.

* WHEN…Until late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage
begins to flood. At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is
flooded. At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 31.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.5 feet
this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
