Flood Warning issued June 7 at 8:45AM CDT until June 11 at 6:18AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Sumner affecting Carroll, Chariton, Livingston and
Linn Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Sumner.

* WHEN…Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage
begins to flood. At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is
flooded. At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 31.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.6 feet
early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
