(ST. JOSEPH,Mo) It's back to football for Chiefs Nation, and Chiefs fans are ready to support their team.

"It's gonna be a good year." August Bennington, a bartender at Hi Ho Bar and Grill said.

At the bar along on Frederick Ave, Chiefs fans say they're ready for another season of fooball.

"It's actually a very very good atmosphere, we have a lot of regulars come in for the Chiefs game, every Sunday’s a good time, It's one of my favorite shifts to work actually." Bennington said.

one of the regulars, Chiefs fan Shelly Schoeneck.

"we used to have season tickets and now, we come [to Hi Ho] almost every Sunday." said Schoeneck.

Schoeneck just one of the many who say their support runs deep.

"I grew up right by Arrowhead Stadium, so I have been a Chiefs fan since I was as little as I can remember." Schoeneck said.

she also says Chiefs’ nation understands how important it is to be a die-hard fan.

"Everybody’s loved the team even though its not been very successful, everybody’s still got spirit..." Schoeneck said.

Those who work at Hi Ho also say the Chiefs reciprocate their support back to their fans.

"I’ve gotten to meet a lot of the team personnel, and they’ve kind of become regulars here. They’ve become good friends of mine, and good friends of the regulars here." Bennington said.

The strong sense of community between the players and thier fans, is what keeps them pumped for the upcoming season.
