A Summer-Like Sunday

After some rain last night, things started off on a bright and sunny note for your Sunday. For the rest of today, expect a few clouds to move in later this afternoon. With these, there could be a stray shower or two but I think the majority of us will be staying dry today. All of us will be seeing summer-like temperatures as highs max out in the 80s.

Getting back to school and work on Monday, the weather is looking very nice. Sunny skies to start the week with highs in the mid 70s. Tuesday will be nice, too with sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.

The rest of next week does have a few storm chances in it. An area of low pressure is expected to move into the area bringing the chance for a few thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday. Another chance for some storms comes on Thursday night and again on Saturday. High temps through Saturday will be in the 70s and 80s.

Friday night's rainfall brought anywhere between 1-5 inches of rain across the area and the threat for more rain tonight could lead to increased flooding potential into Sunday.
