It's a great start to the new workweek northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. A beautiful day is on tap for your Monday with lots of sunshine and highs reaching the upper 50s as high pressure continues to dominate the central U.S. As it moves east, it will allow temperatures to go up to the lower 60s on Tuesday as that south breeze picks up.
Our next storm system will begin to move in Tuesday evening. We'll see a few showers late Tuesday, but we'll get better chances of rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday with temperatures in the 50s and the upper 40s for Thursday as we clear out.
Plenty of sunshine is in store for Friday and Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 50s. We could see another round of rain move in on Sunday.
