Warm temperatures have moved back into the area and are expected to stick around as we go into the weekend. We have a weak cold front passing through this morning that will allow our winds to switch to the north and knock out the humidity. The daytime heating will allow temperatures to go up to near 90 degrees for our Friday. We are also seeing a few stray showers this morning as the front passes but a mostly sunny day is ahead once the sun rises.

Into the weekend, we'll stay dry and quiet with lots of sunshine. Highs through the weekend will be in the upper 80s. It's the last weekend of summer vacation for a lot of kids so get outside and enjoy it, but also stay cool & hydrated.

Heading into the new workweek, we'll see our weather pattern change up. We'll see a mix of sun & clouds onMonday before better chances of rain and thunderstorms return to the forecast late Monday night into Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures are going to be in the middle to upper 80s throughout the workweek.
