Another big night for the St. Joe Mustangs, as they are in MINK league play.

Saturday night the Mustangs took on the Nevada Griffons at Phil Welch Stadium and won 8-4.

The game was in honor of those who had fallen or were survivors to breast cancer. So in part the Mustangs were in their bright pink along with pink bats and gloves to help continue to bring awaremess to the cancer that has affected so many.

Brennon Covington got the nod to start Saturdays game against the Griffons, as Covingtons mother passed away due to breast cancer.

The jerseys that were worn by the players were being auctioned off during the game to help raise money, and other benefits that were riased during the game were also going to other charities.

The Mustangs next game will be Sunday in Nevada to play the Griffons on the road.
