Boil Advisory issued for parts of Savannah

The boil advisory is expected to last until Saturday morning.

(SAVANNAH, Mo.) Savannah city officials have issued a boil advisory after two water main breaks Thursday.

The boil advisory is in effect for Savannah water customers on North 13th Street and along County Road 427 west of Savannah.

Water should be boiled for two minutes before drinking or using to cook or clean food.

The boil advisory is expected to last until Saturday morning.

Mostly cloudy skies across much of northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas Tuesday which resulted in cold temperatures across the area. We saw some freezing rain to the south of St. Joseph Tuesday afternoon. The warmer air will start moving back into the area as we head into Wednesday afternoon with highs in the 50s. The rain chances will start to increase as we head into your Thursday and Thursday night.
