(BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo.) The Buchanan County Sheriff's Department is warning people not to fall for several phone scams.
The sheriff's office sent out an alert cautioning people that someone is calling people threatening to arrest them for missing jury duty.
Similar jury duty scams try to lure the victim out of credit card or personal information.
The sheriff's office also says you should be leery if you get a call from someone claiming to offer $100 to take an AT&T survey.
Authorities have this advice if you receive one of the calls -- hang up.
