UPDATE: Missing girl found

The Cameron Police Department has announced the missing 14-year-old girl, Lita Pelton has been found safe.

(CAMERON, Mo.) The Cameron Police Department has announced the missing 14-year-old girl, Lita Pelton has been found safe.

She was last seen leaving Cameron High School at 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt with Track and Field written on it. She was also wearing black jeans.

Pelton is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Her family reported her missing to the Cameron Police Department Friday.

The good news is our temperatures will be on the rise through the week. Sundays highs will be in the middle to upper 40s and Monday is expected to be even warmer. There is a slight risk for some evening rain showers Tuesday. By midweek highs will be pushing the 50s. By the end of the week we could be seeing highs in the 60s.
