Cooler Summer Air Moving In

A cold front has just passed through the KQ2 Viewing Area which means less humid & cooler air is moving in. Expect cloudy skies and some isolated showers as you wake up on this Thursday morning. A mix of sun & clouds are expected for the afternoon into the evening hours. It will be nice weather for the first public practice of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp as high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 80s.

A cold front has just passed through the KQ2 Viewing Area which means less humid & cooler air is moving in. Expect cloudy skies and some isolated showers as you wake up on this Thursday morning. A mix of sun & clouds are expected for the afternoon into the evening hours. It will be nice weather for the first public practice of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp as high temperatures will be in the lower to middle 80s.

Over the next few days, temperatures will be much cooler with a few rain chances this weekend. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs once again in the lower 80s. Into the weekend, more rain chances are in the forecast on both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will only be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Next week, we dry out and warm back up into the middle to upper 80s. It will be a pleasant week overall, but we still need more rain chances.

Monday looks to be warmer but with low humidity for northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Isolated storms are possible Tuesday night . Scattered storms are possible Wednesday morning with hot and humid conditions returning for Thursday.
