(LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo.) Police provided an update Wednesday in the hunt for a driver in the road rage killing of a St. Joseph man.

A posting on the Lee's Summit Police Department's Facebook page says detectives are combing through hours of surveillance video.

Investigators are trying to find the vehicle Cody Harter's killer was driving.

Police say 23-year-old Harter was driving his Chevy Silverado home from Lee's Summit Saturday night when witnesses say he and another driver pulled over on the Highway 291 ramp, got out of their cars and started arguing.

Cody was stabbed in the chest and died at the scene.

Surveillance video from a nearby business shows Harter driving on Highway 291 but no signs of road rage.

Police are asking for the public's help to find the driver.

Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Aaron Ide at 816-969-1668.
