(ST. JOSEPH, Mo). The Living Community of St. Joseph's choir put on a western-themed concert Thursday evening.

The event packed the room with residents living in the center. The choir has nearly 20 members and consists of people living in the center.

The choir initially began for a patient who used to be a musician but has grown since then.

Mary Schrom Breese, the Director of Spiritual Care at the Living Community, says that the concerts are great for those who participate and watch the shows.

"I mean the residents that participate in the choir seem really to love it." She sad. "And as you can see, we get great turnout from among residents."

This was the choir's 4th concert and they are planning on having a few more in the coming months.

The Living Community of St. Joseph is located at 1202 Heartland Road in St. Joseph.

Snow showers have left the area and we saw anywhere from 2-4 inches of snow. Surface temperatures for the most part remain above freezing so accumulations were mostly on elevated and grassy surfaces. Skies slowly cleared throughout the day with temperatures warming into the mid to upper 40s. Conditions look to dry out and slowly warm throughout the next few days. Rain chances will return mainly through the morning hours on Friday with temperatures back in the 60s. Temperatures will continue to warm through the weekend with highs back in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Temperatures will be close to 80s for the beginning of next week under mostly sunny skies.
