The Mid-Buchanan boys and girls basketball teams wrapped-up their seasons Friday, but not neccesarily how both wanted to.

The boys won a third-place game against Purdy High School, 83-63. Though they wanted the first-place trophy, ending the season with a win and a third-place trophy, sends the seniors out on a high note.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, the girls end the season with a loss and a second place trophy. The Lady Dragons fell to Neelyville, 70-51. After falling down multiple times throughout the game, the Lady Dragons fought back to bring it close.

All in all, it was a great year for both programs. Rarely do you see both the boys and girls make it to the final four.

We will be watching Thursday for the potential for a rain/snow mix as a cold front pushes through. There is the possibility of some freezing drizzle on Thursday morning with temperatures below freezing in the upper 20s. We could have a few slick spots during the morning commute so keep that in mind. Highs will be in the upper 30s.
