Mid-Buchanan Sweeps Lathrop in Home-Opening, KCI Win

Both the boys and the girls handled Lathrop

Both the Mid-Buchanan boys and girls basketball teams faced early deficits in their home-openers on Friday night, but surged past Lathrop. The boys won 74-56 and the girls won 68-41.

Collin Wyatt led the way with 19 points for the Dragons and Hunter Scaggs added 17. On the girl's side, MWSU commit Jill Rumpf led the way with 18, as tthe girls harrassed Lathrop with a full-court, pressure defense.

On top of it being their home-opener, it was a KCI Conference showdown.

Today we had a pleasant end to the weekend with above average highs in the 70s and lots of sunshine. Tonight's conditions will be calm and clear with lows reaching the low 40s overnight.
