Thunderstorm chances have diminished across the area and can expect partly cloudy skies for the rest of the night. Lows will be in the upper 60s.

Sunday does not look any cooler as highs will again be in the low to mid 90s. Skies will be mostly sunny. For Memorial Day, like a broken record, highs will be hot again. Expect mostly sunny skies with temps in the low 90s.

Warm temperatures continue through next week with mostly sunny skies and highs near 90 on Tuesday. Our next chance for showers and storms will be on Wednesday with highs continuing to be above average in the upper 80s and low 90s all week.

Just a little bit more sunshine today across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. The air quality is much better today with the haze starting to clear out of the area. Tonight will be cool and calm with lows in the mid 60s and light winds. There is a slight chance for isolated showers tonight and tomorrow afternoon, although most of the area should stay dry. Dry and sunny conditions continue into the weekend as temperatures start to warm up again. Highs look to stay in the 80s until midweek and then start to climb into the 90s as we head into the weekend.
