Missouri First Lady tests positive for COVID-19

Missouri First Lady Teresa Parson has tested positive for COVID-19, according to reporting from Missourinet.

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) Missouri First Lady Teresa Parson has tested positive for COVID-19, according to reporting from Missourinet.

Parson is quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19 with a rapid test. Missourinet also reports the First Lady is awaiting results from a PCR test to confirm the positive diagnosis.

Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services director Dr. Randall Williams will hold a press conference at 4 p.m. Wednesday with an update on Governor Parson and First Lady Parson. The press conference will be shown on Governor Mike Parson's Facebook page

A strong cold front has made its way into northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas bringing much cooler air and a lot of clouds across the area. Friday night and Saturday the cold air will continue to be in place with daytime highs only reaching into the 40's. As the weekend continues we will see increasing chances for rain and maybe some snow. A cold start to the beginning of next week with highs only in the 30's and 40's.
