MoDOT Crews Working to Clear Highways After Winter Storm

Crews worked throughout the day and this morning to clear the major highways after sleet and snow fell over the area yesterday morning.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) As the temperatures dropped and rain switched to snow, MoDOT road crews worked to clear the highways throughout the day Thursday.

Temperatures should be back down in the 80s by early next week with a chance of rain Sunday as a strong cold front pushes through. This will help bring less humid air and relief from the heat into the region. Mostly sunny skies and near average temperatures are expected through next week.
