The St. Joseph School District says the search to fill those position begins immediately.

While there are losses in the athletic department, an addition was made. Lafayette's next boy's basketball coach is Kevin Bristol. Bristol previously was an assistant coach at Benton. He was also the head basketball coach at Robidoux Middle School. Bristol takes over for Ryan Nichols who resigned earlier in the spring to coach and teach at West Platte.

A weak cold front will pass through for our Friday, giving us a slight chance for rain this morning ahead of it. We'll have cloudy skies through the morning into the afternoon so it will be dry in time for Friday night high school football. Temperatures will be near average in the middle 60s thanks to the breezy southwest winds, but the cloud cover will be the main factor.
