One injured in Dekalb County crash

A man from Bethany, Missouri was seriously injured in a crash early Wednesday morning.

(DEKALB COUNTY, Mo.) A man from Bethany, Missouri was seriously injured in a crash early Wednesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 37-year-old Christian Crossley was driving westbound on U.S. 36, a mile west of Stewartsville, when he went off the south shoulder, impacted the ground, and came to a rest in the median.

He was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Temperatures will start to rapidly warm on Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 90s. Heat index values both days will likely be near or at the triple digits. Rain chances will start to increase Friday night into the weekend as a cold front approaches our area. Temperatures will cool into the lower 90s for the weekend with highs back in the 80s for the beginning of next week.
