Ong won the MIAA Tournament by seven strokes, and shot par for the final round to close out the last day at Swope Memorial Golf Course. Ong has also been MIAA Conference player of the week four times this season.

The Griffons finished fourth behind Central Oklahoma at third, Lindenwood at second, and Northeastern State winning the team overall tournament championship.

Western is still waiting to find out about what their future will be for the NCAA regional as the top 13 will advance on. The Griffons finished ninth for the year.

Above average temperatures are set to continue tomorrow with highs in the lower 90s. Tomorrow the humidity will stay on the lower side, so the heat index should feel very close to the air temperatures. Humidity will start to build on Monday as sunshine continues. Temperatures look to stay above average in the 90s for most of the work week with very minimal rain chances. Temperatures will cool down into the mid to upper 80s by the weekend.
