Woman Killed After Being Hit by Truck

A woman was killed after she was struck by a grain truck late Wednesday morning.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A woman was killed after she was struck by a grain truck late Wednesday morning.

The accident happened near Garfield Avenue and south 16th Street around 11:00 a.m.

St. Joseph police said a grain truck was traveling west near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Commercial Street when the woman stepped off the sidewalk in front of the truck.

Her name has not been released.

The accident is still under investigation.
