Update: Police Release Surveillance Images of Bank Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a St. Joseph bank on Friday.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Police are still searching for a suspect who robbed a St. Joseph bank on Friday.

It happened around 12:50 p.m. Friday at the U.S. Bank on Belt and Pickett in St. Joseph. Over the weekend, The St. Joseph Police released images of the suspect and vehicle.

Authorities said the man walked into the bank and showed a gun. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators say the robber was last seen driving away in a green SUV heading south on the Belt Highway.

Customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery but no one was hurt.

On Saturday, the Department said it is following a few leads but cannot provide any new information to the public.

Temperatures will be a bit milder overnight with lows dropping into the 20s. Tomorrow will be slightly warmer than today with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s under a mix of sun and clouds. A weak cold front will move through overnight Thursday into Friday keeping temperatures on the cooler side Friday. Highs will struggle to make it to the freezing point. Temperatures will quickly start to warm up this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 40s under mostly sunny skies. Next week will start out on the warm side with highs making a run for the 50s. A cold front will move through mid week bringing colder temperatures and our next chance for precipitation.
