Police investigating car accident on 36 Highway

A single car accident on 36 Highway sent two people to the hospital Saturday night.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A single car accident on 36 Highway sent two people to the hospital Saturday night. The St. Joseph Police Department said Mosaic Life Care is treating the two people involved in the accident for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the driver was traveling west on 36 Highway when they overcorrected the steering wheel, cutting across the highway and then off the road.

The incident was between 22nd Street and 28th Street.
