A cloudy and cool weekend across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. Temperatures will continue to stay on the cool side and we will be watching for the next chance for rain to make its way into the area by Sunday night and Monday morning.
Rain is likely for Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures in the middle 50s. Showers could be moderate to heavy at times. Rainfall amounts can range anywhere from a quarter to three quarters of an inch. We could even get a few thunderstorms at times, but no severe weather is expected. It will also be breezy with those southeast winds picking up, gusting up to 25 miles per hour.
High temperatures will be in the lower 60s as we'll finally dry out on Wednesday. We'll remain mostly sunny through the second half of the workweek with temperatures in the upper 50s.
