A rollover accident closed a busy intersection in St. Joseph Sunday afternoon.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A rollover accident closed a busy intersection in St. Joseph Sunday afternoon. 

Around 4 p.m., emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision that led to one car being flipped on its side at the intersection of Faraon St. and North Belt Hwy. 

St. Joseph police has not confirmed if there were any injuries but KQ2 did witness one person being put into an ambulance on a stretcher. 

The accident closed the intersection for around 45 minutes.

A strong cold front has made its way into northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas bringing much cooler air and a lot of clouds across the area. Friday night and Saturday the cold air will continue to be in place with daytime highs only reaching into the 40's. As the weekend continues we will see increasing chances for rain and maybe some snow. A cold start to the beginning of next week with highs only in the 30's and 40's.
