Royals announce catcher Salvador Perez tests positive for coronavirus

The Kansas City Royals have announced catcher Salvador Perez has tested positive for the coronavirus.

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) The Kansas City Royals have announced catcher Salvador Perez has tested positive for the coronavirus. 

On Saturday, Perez said that he has been feeling good and has not had any symptoms. 

Perez will be in quarantine for approximately two weeks and will have to test negative twice before he can join the team.
