SJFD responds to Southside fire

A structure fire occurred Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) - A structure fire occurred Wednesday afternoon on the 900 block of E. Buddy Street.

The fire occurred at a home at the corner of E. Buddy St. and Judy St. According to the St. Joseph Fire Department, firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the home. 

People inside the home also extinguished part of the fire. 

No word on if there were any injuries.

In St. Joseph, we have seen four consecutive days with high temperatures in the 50s and as we begin this new work week, it looks like we will be adding to that over the next several days.
