School District Approves Naming of Two New Principals

The two principals will be leading Lindbergh Elementary and Hosea Elementary schools.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The St. Joseph School District Board of Education announced that two elementary schools will have new leadership. 

Justin McCarthy and Leah Richardson were approved as the new administrators on Tuesday. 

McCarthy will be principal at Hosea Elementary. He has been in the St. Joseph School District for 11 years and is currently the assistant principal at Spring Garden Middle School where he has been since 2013.

Richardson is currently the principal at Humbolt Elementary and has been in the district for 12 years.

Patchy dense fog is also across the area this morning. Sunshine and mild temperatures will take over this afternoon with highs in the mid 60s. Saturday will start off dry and sunny with temperatures warming back into the mid 60s. Late Saturday into Sunday shower and thunderstorm chances return. A few thunderstorms could be on the strong to severe side. Several fronts will move through the area next week giving us roller coaster temperatures. Next week looks to start off dry but rain chances will return by mid week.
