The 33rd Annual St. Joseph Sports, Inc. Scholar-Athlete Awards Presentation was held Wednesday.

ST. JOSEPH - The 33rd Annual St. Joseph Sports, Inc. Scholar-Athlete Awards Presentation was held Wednesday at Missouri Western. The night honors two main awards Drug-Free Superstars and the Scholar-Athletes of the Year.

The Scholar-Athletes of the Year Nominees

Benton:

Elizabeth Reynolds and Bostyn Horn.

Lafayette:

Nicole Adams and Jeremie Wing.

St. Joseph Christian: 

Hayley Bothum and Elias Manners.

Central:

Jessica Schenk and Boston Small. (winners)

Leblond:

Kim Green and Kalvin Hudson.

Drug-Free Superstars visit elementary schools and talked with students about their choice of leading a drug-free lifestyle, motivation, goal setting and the importance of academics as it relates to high school activities.
