Stewartsville man killed in ATV accident

(DEKAKB, Co.) A Stewartsville man was killed in an ATV accident Thursday night.

The crash happened around 7:00 p.m. on MO 6 just south of Clarksdale.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 71-year-old William Cornelius died when his Polaris Ranger was rear-ended by a Honda Civic driven by 24-year-old Mark Ramsey, of, St. Joseph.

Cornelius was ejected from the Ranger. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. Ramsey was not hurt.
