The summer heat is returning

More sunshine will move into the area for our Wednesday. High temperatures will also be warming up as we go up to the upper 80s. The south winds will begin picking up late week, which will allow the hot & humid air to move back in and have highs go into the lower 90s Thursday through early next week.

More sunshine will move into the area for our Wednesday. Through the weekend we'll have mostly sunny skies. We could see a few stray light showers on Thursday morning, but we'll be will remain dry for the most part. Not great news with our current drought situation. We're already over 11 inches below for yearly rainfall amounts. 

High temperatures will also be warming up as we go up to the upper 80s for your Wednesday. The south winds will begin picking up late week, which will allow the hot & humid air to move back in and have highs go into the lower 90s Thursday through early next week.

There is a chance we'll see better chances of rain in the forecast Monday night through early Tuesday. Something we'll have to wait and see if the models can hold together on. Stay tuned!
