Suspect in Custody Following Deadly Motorcycle Accident

Police confirmed they have a person in custody following a deadly motorcycle accident Sunday evening.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Police confirmed they have a person in custody following a deadly motorcycle accident Sunday evening.

Police said the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of King Hill and East Kansas Avenue.

Authorities confirmed a vehicle and motorcycle collided before that vehicle fled the scene.

The male driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with serious injures, where police said he later died from those injuries.

The names of the victim nor the suspect have been released.

Police said the accident is still being investigated.
