Tractor trailer runs off I-29 into ditch

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) I-29 is operating with one lane of traffic after a tractor trailer ran off the road into a ditch. 

According to MSHP, a semi carrying 40,000 lbs of meat drove off I-29 southbound near mile marker 38. Troopers said the accident was reported just before 7 a.m. MSHP said the cause is still unknown. 

Troopers said the driving lane will be closed for an undetermined amount of time to remove the tractor trailer from the ditch. 

No injuries were reported.

Most of today was sunny and dry with a few passing clouds. An isolated shower or two could develop late this afternoon in extreme northwest Missouri. Temperatures will continue to warm up on Wednesday with highs back in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Several rounds of showers and storms will return Thursday and Friday as a front moves through our area. A few storms could be on the stronger side or bring heavy rain. Temperatures will be back in the low to mid 80s for the weekend.
