Vandals Damage Construction Equipment

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says vandals caused extensive damage to heavy machinery on a farm near Ludlow.

(LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo.) The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says vandals caused extensive damage to heavy machinery on a farm near Ludlow.


Authorities say a Case Dozer, Komatsu Track Hoe and white GMC pick-up were all heavily damaged.

Deputies say an underage alcohol party in northern Carroll County was reported a few days before the vandalism was discovered.

The sheriff's office says fingerprints were left at the scene. Anyone with information is urged to call the Livingston County Sheriff's Department at (660) 646-0515 or (660) 646-2121.

We have had rain off and on this Saturday across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. Scattered showers will continue off and on through the evening and overnight hours but should start to clear up as we head towards the morning. Temperatures will slowly start to warm Sunday into Monday as sunshine returns and conditions start to dry out. Another cold front is headed our way Monday night and that will bring us a chance for rain and possibly some snow into Tuesday morning as the colder air surges into our area. Temperatures look to stay unseasonably cool through the rest of the next week.
