Video: St. Joseph police asking for help to identify driver, passenger dragged by car

The St. Joseph Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two people shown in a video as a passenger of a car is dragged down the street Wednesday morning.

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The St. Joseph Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two people shown in a video as a passenger of a car is dragged down the street Wednesday morning.

According to Sergeant Brad Kerns, the incident took place in a southside neighborhood around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

The video shows a car stopped along the street and as a passenger attempted to get out of the vehicle, the driver took off. The passenger was dragged down the street. The driver then lifted the passenger back into the vehicle and drove off.

It was a pleasant start to the weekend with sunny skies and temperatures reaching the mid 60s. A cold front moving through the area will bring us down into the 30s for lows overnight with gusty winds up to 20 mph. This will keep our highs in the 50s on Sunday under mostly sunny skies with mild winds from the southwest. Temperatures will quickly start to warm up again on Monday with highs in the mid 60s. Rain chances look to stay minimal into next week. Temperatures are forecasted to stay above average for the first day of December on Wednesday.
