After a bright and sunny Thursday a chilly night is expected. Thursday morning low temps will be in the lower 30s with light winds from the east at 5-10 mph.

Friday is still cool, but warmer, with highs near 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies as high pressure once again builds in to northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Another storm system could move into the area on Saturday bringing the chance for a few showers with highs in the upper 50s.

We'll slowly rebound back to the lower 60s by Sunday with partly sunny skies. We'll finally be back up to mid-April temperatures by early next week with highs in the upper 60s early next week with mostly sunny skies on Monday. There is another chance of rain in the forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday. We will be approaching 70 degrees on Thursday!

Friday night's rainfall brought anywhere between 1-5 inches of rain across the area and the threat for more rain tonight could lead to increased flooding potential into Sunday.
