Western Softball Season Comes to an End

5th seed Griffon Softball (25-29) was eliminated from the MIAA Championships with a 3-1 loss to 3rd seed Central Oklahoma (31-21), Friday in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - 5th seed Griffon Softball (25-29) was eliminated from the MIAA Championships with a 3-1 loss to 3rd seed Central Oklahoma (31-21), Friday in Oklahoma City.

Kenzie Hilzer and Kaili Hinds combined so strand 13 UCO base runners in the game, holding the Bronchos to three runs on 10 hits. The Griffon offense stranced seven of their own on base in the game. Western had five hits and was walked three times.

Wednesday and Thursday night a cold front will move in and give us a chance for rain and t-storms. As the warm front moves in and remains stationary it will spark rain/storm chances Wednesday through Thursday. Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with a high in the lower 80s.
