Brenda Faye Rasnic, 63, Fillmore, Missouri; passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was born on July 3, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a graduate of Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri.
Brenda worked as a hair stylist for over thirty year. She enjoyed crocheting and craft making.
On July 6, 1990, Brenda married Elvin Rasnic. They lived in the St. Louis area for many years before relocating to Fillmore.

Brenda was a devoted wife and loving mother, she was loved by all of her friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Elvin, of the home; son, Russell Rasnic; daughter, Julie Jenkins and brother, Paul Coleman.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Shoemaker and grandmother, Edith Coleman.
Mrs. Rasnic has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. A Celebration of Brenda's Life will be held at a later date.

A weak cold front will move through the area later this evening. Clouds will build into the area today as the front passes. A few isolated areas of light rain can’t be ruled out as the front moves through. Temperatures will remain in the 70s on Saturday under mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will really start to warm up on Sunday with highs in the upper 80s. Above average temperatures will continue through the beginning of next week as sunny and dry weather remains.
