Cheryl Irene McNeal, 70, Cameron, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

She was born May 20, 1948 in Waverly, New York daughter of Pauline & Alfred McNeal. She graduated from Smithville High School class of 1967. She was a homemaker and enjoyed to read.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon Shipers.

She is survived by children, Adam (Julie) Holtzclaw of Lathrop, MO and Kristin (Todd) Ware of Higginsville, MO, brothers, Alfred (Vanessa) McNeal II of Smithville, MO and Jerry (Kelly) McNeal of Lone Jack, MO, sisters, Cassie Huntley of Helena, MT and Betsy Newman of Amsterdam, MO, grandchildren, Jeremy Crocker, Jessica Crocker, Alex Holtzclaw, Evelyn Holtzclaw, great-granddaughter, Marlena Hartigan, and her dear friends at Village Greens Apartments.

Ms. McNeal will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at her son Adam's house at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018.
