Matilda "Tillie" Davis 64, of St Joseph, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 in St. Joseph. She was born September 13, 1954 in St. Joseph, daughter of Natividad "Nettie" & Jose Torres. She graduated from Lafayette High School and worked at Wal-Mart. Matilda "Tillie" was preceded in death by her father, Jose Torres, mother, Natividad "Nettie" Torres, sisters, Carmen Torres, Dorothy King, Genevieve "Jenny" Mozier. She is survived by daughters, Tiffany (Dwayne) Eidson of St. Joseph, Laurie Summers of St. Joseph, Dana Boatwright of St. Joseph, sons, James Davis Jr. of King City, MO, Donald Davis of King City, MO, Aaron Davis of St. Joseph, 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters, Patricia Mesino of St. Joseph and Margaret Wilson, former husband, James Davis Sr. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home with visitation following from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
