Norma Jean (Hilton) Kenny, 77, of Skidmore, MO, passed from this life on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.
Norma was born in Maryville, MO, on December 30, 1940, to Ralph E. and Frances A. (Hilsabeck) Hilton.
She graduated in 1958 from Graham High School, Graham, MO, and then attended Platte Business College, St. Joseph, MO. She lived all her life in the area.
On October 6, 1961, at the home of the Rev. L.B. Day in Maryville, MO, Norma was united in marriage to Norman Lee Kenny. She had helped him on the farm; and had worked at the FSA office in Maryville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lee in 2013. She was also preceded by her parents, twin granddaughters, Marci and Michala Rosenbohm, and 2 sisters, Marolyn Alloway, and Barbara Heck.
Norma was a member of the Graham United Methodist Church, and for many years was the Secretary/Treasurer and Trustee for the Prairie Home Cemetery Board, Graham, MO.
She liked to garden and to be outdoors; and took great pride in her yard. She also liked to bowl. She sewed and made many quilts. Her greatest joy was her grandkids, their visits and spending time with them, and to attend their school events
She leaves behind her daughter, Marsha (Mike) Rosenbohm, Graham, MO; 2 grandchildren, Marc Rosenbohm (Lacey Nieder), and Megan Rosenbohm, Graham; her sister in law, Carla (Loren) Markt, Oregon, MO, 2 brothers in law, Jim Alloway, Graham, and Allen Heck, St. Joseph, MO; and 5 nieces, a nephew, and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2018, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial will follow in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the funeral home.

Tomorrow we will see lots of sunshine as a area of high pressure continues to move into northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. The colder temperatures will start to move away from the area on Saturday. Then over the weekend we will warm up dramatically with highs in the 50s and watch for our next chance for rain on Sunday.
