Rose Marie Vance, 74, Maryville, MO passed away at her home on May 20, 2018. Rose was born February 21, 1944 to parents; Lester and Bernice (Sinak) Hass, who have preceded her in death.
In 1985, in Maryville, Rose was united in marriage to Larry Vance.
In 2007, Rose retired from the Nodaway County Senior Center after 30 years of loving and devoted service.
Rose was a member of St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church. She served as President of the Eagles Lodge 3669 and the President of the Soroptimist.
Preceding her in death include her daughter, April Lawyer; Sister: Sandy Findley; Great Nephew: Riley Findley; and an infant son.
Survivors include: Husband, Larry Vance, of the home; Daughters: Kim Treese, Maryville, MO; Rosemary (Kirby) Stiens, Conception Junction, MO; Step-Daughter: Joyce Vance, New Bloomfield, MO; Son-in-Law: Dave Lawyer, Maryville, MO; Brother-in-Law: David Findley, Grant City. Granchildren: Lindsay (Chad) Hannigan, Maryville, MO; Cindy (Jared) Sullivan, Kansas City, MO; Bobbi Dawn Austin, Kansas City, MO; Clint (Phyllis) Lawyer, Maryville, MO; Hannah (Milo) Chudzinski, Media, PA; Cole Lawyer, Maryville, MO; Ryan (Kayla) Stiens, Maryville, MO; Jordan Stiens, Lincoln, NE; Derek Stiens, Maryville, MO; and Jessa Stiens, Lincoln, NE. Great Grandchildren: Braelyn, Kate, Finley Hannigan; Preston and Caden Sullivan; Rylee and Jack Stiens. Nephew: Joey (Lisa) Findley and son Clayton, St. Joseph, MO; Niece: Melody Findley, Grant City; Aunts: Julie Haist, Warrenton, MO; Catherine Yager, Jonesboro, MO and also many cousins.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 prior to funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville, MO. Interment will be at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood, MO.
Memorials may be sent to St. Gregory’s School or sent to the family to establish a memorial in her name at the Nodaway County Senior Center.
