(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) – The Kansas City Chiefs announced roster moves on Sunday, including the signing of 10 practice squad players.

The Chiefs also re-signed veteran Safety Ron Parker. The Chiefs cleared roster room for Parker by placing other safety, Daniel Sorensen, on injured reserve.

Parker played the past five seasons with the Chiefs, but was released last winter and signed with the Atlanta Falcons, and was recently released by Atlanta.

The veteran will join a revamped secondary as six of the ten players in the defensive back unit are all brand new. Returning defensive backs for the Chiefs from a year ago are Eric Berry, Eric Murray, Daniel Sorenson, and Steven Nelson.

Parker is most known for his hard hitting and physical play. For his career he has (320) total tackles, (7) sacks, (5) forced fumbles (43) pass deflections, and (9) interceptions.
