(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.)- Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West left Thursday morning's practice following a blow to the head.
The Chiefs removed West from practice as a precautionary measure.
“Charcandrick took a hit to the head,” Head coach Andy Reid said. “Rick [Burkholder] is evaluating him and we’ll just see where he’s at.”
Rookie safety Armani Watts was back at practice Saturday after missing the first two days of camp with an ankle injury.
“He was back in today and got some work in,” Reid said. “We’ll see how he does. Armani was a good college player, but we have to see [what he can do]. He needs reps and he has to be in there. If you’re going to make this thing - this team - you have to get in and show it.”
Running back Kareem Hunt was limited in practice with a hamstring injury.
“His hamstring just tightened up a bit on him and I don’t want to mess around with that. He had a sore hamstring during OTA's and I want to stay away from that,” Reid said. “We’re easing him back in, he did some stuff early, then we just backed him off.
Chiefs linebacker Reggie Ragland (knee) did not practice Saturday.
“He’s making progress. I’m not worried about him,” Reid said.
