Chiefs announce roster cuts, 53-man roster

The Kansas City Chiefs cut down their roster to 53 on Saturday.

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.)— The Kansas City Chiefs cut down their roster to 53 on Saturday.

In the midst of the roster cuts, the Chiefs traded running back Carlos Hyde to Houston for guard Martinas Rankin. 

Kansas City also traded cornerback Mark Fields for a 2021 seventh-round pick.

Thursday we will see lots of sunshine as a area of high pressure continues to move into northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. The colder temperatures will be with us as highs will be in the lower 30s on Thursday. Then over the weekend we will warm up dramatically with highs in the 50s.
