Mules win big over Trenton

(LATHROP, Mo.) The KCI Conference was on display Friday night with all eight teams in action. The Lathrop Mules headlined the KCI Conference Friday, after making it to last year's district title game losing to Lafayette County, and wanting to get the season started on the right foot.

The Mules played Trenton at home winning, 55-7, and start the season 1-0. Lathrop will play on the road next week against Hogan Prep.

Other scores from the KCI Confernce:

East Buchanan beat South Harrsion 32-22.

Lawson beat Oak Grove 32-17.

Mid-Buchanan beat Princeton 40-14.

N. Platte lost to Gallatin 31-6.

Penney beat Maysville 43-14.

Plattsburg lost to Milan 41-14.

West Platte beat Lone Jack 46-0.

Current models show the storms weakening before arriving into Missouri but will need to monitor them as there is the chance they could produce some gusty winds and large hail. These storms could also bring some heavy rainfall to the area. Best chance for thunderstorms will be after 5:00 p.m. through the overnight. Lows tonight are in the 60s.
