(SPRINGFIELD, Mo.) The Bishop LeBlond girls' basketball team is heading to the Class 2 state championship game on Saturday night.
The Golden Eagles defeated New Haven, 45-23.
#1 LeBlond led 11-8 after one and for more than two quarters, the Golden Eagles' defense held New Haven to just nine points.
Bishop LeBlond was led in scoring by Shae Lewis with 15, Tatum Studer 13, and Katie Beam with 12.
The Golden Eagles will play Tipton Saturday night at 8 p.m. at Missouri State University.
